SUMMARY
Faster Pace for the 1st 1f as some pressed on to try to get to the lead on the rail. Toytown initially managing that but working hard and just holding Somedaysrdiamonds off but then allowed that one to XF as pace srttled downhill. Field closing up on the downhill stretch.

Race played out like the better form pair who raced prominently coming together at the finsh but the pace stiff enough to mean that pair fading in the last 0.5f allowing the two competitive ones from further back to get involved. Lady Marita doing that by some CZ work in Lane 1 on the Bend and onto the Leading Pair before 1f but fading herself near the line.

Lyfka running wide in the HS on the CS and prob still 3-4L back into the last 1f. Did a little bit more than just plug on into tired horses in the last 1f and still looking as if 'Thinking' a little bit (started off as a difficult horse). OR59 at present which looks usable and has a bit of range in front. In Full VRev you would say that if Lyfka had run professionally she would have won here off that OR mark. A slow break and then not facing Kickback early and that slightly Head Up and thinking demeanour a lot of the time. Made ground back comfortably on the downhill but then not helping the jk much to find a clear path in the HS. Picked up ok towards 1f out. One niggle would be her Closing near the line looked as if she might win (and could have done with an Athlete's dip for the tape) but the forward motion stalled a bit. Stalling late acceptably or Head going Up a bit more and not wanting to go to the lead?
