GF from GGF on Decs. Unusual Stiff to Medium ENE Wind = Close to Direct Tailwind. Rail Fully in. Brief Summary post VRev (check after VP available =] Fst Time but notably fast conditions with the unusual Tailwind. Pace of race not looking that fast visually despite the final Time. Profitable a bulky sprinter & conforming the promise of his debut. Had the advanatge of racing settled closer to the rail than the others but a solid effort in the last 2f. Not as 'strong' as might have been and a bit of hanging right in the last 1f and never looking absolutely balanced & smooth. But, ok for 80+. Equally Fast a less professional performance than Profitable but, given the circumstances, probably a bit more promising. A slightly bigger frame than Proftiable and at least as strongly made. Appeals as a bulky sprinter that can develop further with racing. A bit free here, but sttled better than FTO, and then a bit green. Taking time to get organised and produce his final effort. Not quite seeing the 5f out. But, all of those seem fixable and another who ought to be 80+. Renaissant looking like a lightly made, ready, 'Whippet' compared to the bulky lads in 1st/2nd. Running too freely and moving fine on the fast going. Hughes looking big on her in the finish and lacks scope. Lacks physical scope a 'now' sprint filly with some zip. Hung left at times, away from the rail, through the race and carrying others wide doing it. The Wispe running outside of Renaissant for a lot of the race and carried left for a lot of that lot. Bigger than Renaissant and a bit more bulk but still looking a lighter made filly with ok movement. Interesting to compare her picture/Prev to One Moment for the same trainer (ran poorly on the day in a Nursery after looking promising on early runs). TWispe perhaps around 70? Torridonian looking a different body shape and set-up to a 'typical' Kodiac. Low slung (shorter legged), lengthier body as a 'tube'. Ok build if the set-up 'works' & more bulk than the other two fillies. Green at times through the race and finsing hanging on to the pace in these fast conditions difficult with her level of nous. Also getting unbalanced int he last 2f when making a brief final effort. Check whether 70+ on build in the PRev and should look much better STO if more competent. |
