SUMMARY
GF from GGF on Decs. Unusual Stiff to Medium ENE Wind = Close to Direct Tailwind in the HS.

Rail out 4yds for the whole race. Previous Day had a 2f out Cutaway and distance out seemed more than 4yds in the HS. CoC says this adds 6yds to the race distance which seems way too low.

Fast Time but very fast conditions and barely an average pace. Field looking like a 70s-80s Fillies' Nursery unless something showed in the race as above that level. 5 of the fillies coming into the race with OR marks public and they split as 76, 77, 78 & 2 x 82 (MM & BG).

Alonsoa the obvious candidate being the biggest and a promising debut. Just an 'ok' effort here and never showing a strong effort in the last 2f and just 'enough' to see off some limited opponents. Moving straight on the GF going but a bit head up and not reaching out in front. Jk having to work through 2 stages of encouragement after she did not pick as well/quickly as the comfortable travelling suggested. The final uphill 2f here off a usable Pace can make even better horses look a bit laboured and Alonsoa needs that and the going concern as mild excuses to enable you to think she can go higher competitively. But the best on show here.

Mixed messages from Pack Together in VRev. Average or perhaps a slightly smaller on in the group and a bit green at times. Not looking better than the type Hannon might end up putting in the fillies' nurseries at GDWD & DONC major meetings. Given the way the race played out showed an effort in the last 2f above that of the handicappers she slalomed around. Hauled to the back and then having to switch right at the 2F out rail cutaway to make progress then siwtching back out wider to close up to Alonsoa late. A smaller 'Paco Boy' with a bigger engine than the frame promises? Or a somwhere around 80 nursery type closing up to a bigger 88-90 filly feeling the ground a bit?

No particular interest int he other 5 other than refining where they fit in the 70-80s nursery range. Russian Punch looking a bit leggier/taller than expected & check that. But running alongside Alonsoa in the last 2f meant a direct comparision to show have with less of everything (Height, build, neatness, power, straight movement, etc).

Mary Mcphee running too free overall and a bit more size in the context of this field. Check whether she has a bit more development potential and the early fade here misleading. Tesoroyal a typical maiden-in-a-Class1 and baffling career development. Didn't stay here and made a Final effort better than the early fade shows. Another looking a resonable size in the group so check potential. Interested diluted by the trainer's methods but he gets the occasional one that improves 4TO+.
