Shambolic race behind the leading pair at Halfway which made winner look more "impressive" than she was. Typical Evans' Ready Type and an efficient mover. Presume she is some sort of OR80s 2-3 race winner, probably OR70s in full term and come up short in Listed+. Johnny Sorrento never got going on Softer turf in the Brocklesby but ok her and attended the winner until just past Hf then blown away on the turn. OR60s? Designate the earliest ever 2yo runner for the owners - Highclere TB - as they presumably try to support the Sire Approve that they owned. Trainer Beckett didn't think Designate was ready to win FTO and would not have placed but for the race breaking up so badly. Did a lot wrong and Hanging for much of the race and presume he will be on a straight or Left hand track NTO. Presume can rate OR70+ when competent but a nursery future and OT70s somewhere. Hell Of A Lord's relations have mostly won STO and in early season including The Dancing Lord who ran poorly in the equivalent race before blossoming STO. HOAL too green and colty and not going forward in the race. Probably upper OR60s and check what quality of race STO. Don Sigfredo a compact, deep and ready type and on the smaller side and probably lack scope. Never got started here due to inexperience and showed enough in making a few VTLens in the HS for minimal asking to think he can be OR70 but perhaps needing to get his win early. Little interest in the other 4 and all sub-70 to various degrees.Mount Isa looking too slow for a fast 5f but some build positive at her lower level. Pickle Lilly Pearl one of the slowest three startes and did show some 'cheap speed' to get back to 5th at halfway but was tiring by 1f. A small one with some zip but struggling to stay 5f and no scope. Lower OR50s at best? Rose Of Kiev another clueless one and not necessarily a 5f type. Previous early runners for trainer/owner combo been moderate types. Jet Mate a rare early runner for Muir and stable doesn't get many winners before June. Earliest runners usually manage to win something but this looks another Nursery development type. Race [Est] for winner downgraded from 45 to 38 after April 18th run by Cheerio Sweetie Race Conditions = £4,000 guaranteed For 2yo whose sire established one or more yearling sales in 2013 with a median price of not more than £19000 Weights colts and geldings 9st 5lb, fillies 9st pay £ 20 |
