SUMMARY
GF from G on Decs.

Stalls Far Side and the trio raced along the rail. Lexington Times getting an unhassled lead but always running a touch too free and trying too hard before Hf. Race developed into a 2F Sprint.

Prince Gagarin becoming the 7th winner from 7 foals of racing age for his dam. 1st two foals 100+ males then followed by 3 x moderate winning females. 6th foal winning over 12f as a 3yo this year and OR in mid 80s. PG a shorter one but bulky and very strong Dubawi type. Different physical type to the 1st two high quality males. PG looking to be back to a higher class 2yo and 90+. Tracked the leader here and racing fully professionally. Receiving 7lbs from the other two so 'had' to win but did so with low level fuss and willingly. Scope to improve.

Lexington Times at least a size smaller than PG all round and less scope. Perhaps a bit more range. Solid run from a comfortable lead but worn down by a stronger horses in the last 1f.

Zephuros another lower slung and strongly built one (bulkier than LT) in a trio in same 'Type' area. On debut he beat LT and made 1L+ on LT after Halfway in a race run in 86.49 also on GF. Zephuros initially held back to 3R on the rail but the jk, sensibly, made some ground back by Halfway given the Slower Pace. Travelled a bit better than LT at 2F and jk able to delay asking for the full Final Effort. Why couldn't Zephuros overhaul LT then? Reason seemed to be that he couldn't get fully balanced when asked to Sprint int he last 2f. Mild Hang Right initially then some Hanging left from there on. Made <1L on LT this time and most of that late on as LT stalled. Inclined to think Zephuros would look better (& better than LT) in a stiffer Pace Test as long as the Hanging here not an indicator of the leading edge of a 'Godolphin' type regression.
