GFG from GF on Decs, 6-8mm Watering on Thu. Any rain overnight? Stalls Stands' Side.

Race Run in 0.01s slower than Div I with Gregoria carrying 3lbs more. This race different with Gregoria running down the Rail and not stopping and looking as if the Rail some help. Div I racing wider of the rail.

Gregoria back off a long beak from a poor run over 5.3f on fast ground on a downhill track. On debut had looked upper 60s type but lacking any mental sharpness. Seemed a diffrenet horse here both in terms of looking ready & up-for-it (some free running) but also in handling the slightly slower ground on a flat track. Upping the pace inside the last 3f and finding a solid kick at 2f out and maintaining it well until stalling late on. Looked like a 'Peak' effort on return from the break & perhaps Leak 70s. Can she show this 'Peak' level NTO assuming she has OR70s in a Nursery? (prob 'Tails').

Unlike Gregoria a slightly flat and wary (of something, poss physical) run from Hail Claudius. Running away from the Rail perhaps some disadvantage but needding niggling then driving inside 3f out to respond to the Pace Increase. Did it ok enough in the end to be 2 Wide off the rail and almost Overlapping Gregoria at 2F out when the jks asked for the Final Efforts. But, HC either outpaced or not picking up and getting dropped for 3-4L and 4th behind Nobbly Bobbly Some response in the last 1f when dropping onto the rail but just low level plugging on and still looking hesitant. Never faded & just going slowly & core question over whether he that Slow or something bothering him here. Inclined to say 50-50 as a starting point in that wasn't as 'Good' compared to the others in this field that the Short Priced Fav made him out to be. But, he cannot be as Slow as the 2f out ground losing suggested. Lower 70s? Check whether he looks more purposeful NTO.

Oregon Gift a Taller & Narrower Galloper and towering over Gregoria in the Leading Pair here. But while she was looking in good condition and moving straight and purposefully OG looking very Slows and a Poor mover. Has looked a Slow Galloper and shown a Climbing Action in Pevious run but looking worse here. Starting to Creak before Halfway and losing Ground soon afterwards and looking unbalanced most of the time and Hanging left (almost like being slightly Drunk & having to think to co-ordinate). His one bit of 'Solid Form' running second in a messy BTON maiden which is prpducing winners. That race had a Slow Pace and perhaps didn't put OG under the Pressure in other races and perhaps he is Slow and the BTON 2nd misleading. He needs to show that the effort here was caused by some problem other than an an Attack-of-the-Slows NTO whatever the underlying Story is.

Arthurs Way ridden by an occasional jk with a 'Quiet' Southern Hemisphere style. Other than using the Whip she would never look 'Strong' in British terms and her niggling along throughout the race mostly ignored by AW who was jogging along at his chosen pace off the back of competitive ones and keeping ahed of the stragglers without doing much. Of some interest because he has more ability than he shows but clearly a stroppy horse who might not be fixable. Gelding Op presumably at some point. [Note - this VRev done later on when AW has a usable OR60 but running in an 8f Auction event 4TO rather than a Nursery. ]

Prescott a slow start with 2yos this year and his 'Early' Batch of 2yos too late in the year and mostly 7f. Suggesting he might not have many 2yo types. Overlord toweringly clueless here and driven along for most of the race and head up looking bewildered throughout. Perhaps just a leggy medium. Prescott's competitive 2yos can snap together STO of somewhat green debuts. This looked more like the the 3-quick-runs as a 2yo to get OR54 to start 10f+ handicapping with at 3yo type debut and cluelessness. Is his 'First Batch' in 2014 actually more like a 2nd or 3rd batch in some years?
