SUMMARY
GS from GF on Decs. 25mm of Rain from Fri to 16:00pm Sat.

Coc Quote = "The entire length of running rail has been moved out by between 9yds and 3yds. This will have the following effect on race distances: Race 1- 7f 41y (+39y)".

Salateen getting a reasonably Comfortable lead but upping the Pace and stretching the field out around Mid-race to put too much Pace Pressure into the Race. Salateen pulling clear in the last 1f but that seemed mostly a visual effect with Al Bandar fading back. Salateen doing well to roll home as he did given the Pace set but not making any ground on Horsetracker, for e.g. with that one's jk quiet, in the last 1f as that one plugged on having been 7-8L back at Halfway. Salateen a similar frame to AB but a bit bulkier all round.

Al Bandar had looked a bit boaty and slow to respond at LING STO and the antics of jk Levey here made it look like he has an attitude problem. A slow start from the widest draw and Levey niggling away from early on and forcing AB into an early effort to get to 2nd outside Salateen. Levey then driving and using the whip for most of the rest of the race and forcing AB to chase Salateen while running much wider and having to do that while Salateen was incresing the pace by running feely. Perhaps there is some hidden 'Story' about AB's attitude but from the outside it was an idiotic ride. Race too wide, ignore the pace set, don't bother to try to get the horse balanced and rolling and managed to reduce AB (still trying and looking willing) to a walk inside the last 1f and still using his whip. Who knows?

Henrytheaeroplane giving the impression he wasn't enjoying the ground nor the course from early on. A slow start and having to be driven & niggled to get going but ended up 2nd outside of Salateen. But, kamikaze Levey on AB forcing forward 2 wide and cut in on HTA after 2f and hampered him & losing 3-4L. Given HTA not going smotthly before that seemed to knock any remaining 'stuffing' out of HTA. A laboured effort before 2F out to into the HS but an early fade. But, HTA also smaller than AB & Salateen & looking the neater type of HTN against that pair and perhaps chasing better horses.

Horsetracker looking the smallest but not by much. Jk mostly quiet throughout the race and looked like an OR protecting 3TO ride. The Pace folding back in the last 1F meant the jk had to effectively ease Horsetracker in the last 0.5f to avoid making ground to AB. 3rd here may ruin the OR anyway. Trainer a negative but has had 3 x quet runs making a few places after halfway each time and has more ability than shown. Hyperactive Levey wouldhave got her into the race.

Joshua Potman looking bulkier than Horsetracker but not fit. Also a bit boaty and mentally immature and clueless overall. Has the bulk to develop with racing if he isn't paceless. [Dascombe described him as a 'Work in Progress' before his next run].
