SUMMARY
Notably Slow Time. Wind not an Issue. Conditions Overall?

Looking an Average Pace even with the very Slow Time/ Field had formed up into a Leading group of 5 followed by a 6-7th in a gap back to a Trio of Green and/or Moderate ones at the Back struggling to keep up even with a usable Pace. Race developed into a 2F Sprint with Sping Loaded taking most of the 2F to turn a 0.5L deficit over State Of The Union into a similar winning margin. SL looking in good condition & a bit narrow compared to SOTU. But very willing in the 2f Sprint and found a little extra kick-1f+ after hanging left initially. Check the VP/Preb but 72-74 range?

State Of The Union typically looking bulkier than the opposition as a Hannon 2yo. Ran too free FTO and an early fade. Allowed to lead here and seemed to mostly settle. A bit hard to judge whether he was being held by Hughes or not mid-race. SOTU seeming to hold his head up and a bit out to the right all the time. Made the best immediate kick 2F out and looking likely to win on that for a brief time but then Stalling towards 1f and the head going up a bit more. Hughes using the whip and SOTU responding to being headed by SL to duel for a while. SOTU then fading very late on and eased on the line and close to having 2nd nicked off him.

Rockaroundtheclock still looking a bit green and niggled at times. Check VP but a bit smaller than SL and needs earlier PRev downgrading? Lost a bit of ground to the leading two at 2f out by taking a bit longer to get going. But, staying on back to SOTU late on as as better suited by a more staying test. Late 60s or into 70s?

Stinky Socks back after a break and trainer Hill's saying in his weekly Blog that she had been given time after disappointing STO. But saying he only 'hoped' she would go well. Ran too freely and 2 wide round the bend. Made a similar effort to the other Leading 4 at 2f out but stalling & fading a bit earlier (which might be ok given the break and free running). But, has she bulke dup at all in the break? Is this race a similar first 4 in OR67-74 range unable to separate from each other in a 2F sprint off a usable Pace?

Retro Valley looking a poor use of £52,000 and counting. Able to run with the first 4 but looking a smaller one and check how size compared to SL & RATC. But, blown away for 3-4L at 2f out by the leading 4's efforts and then fading early to be caught by one of the stragglers.

What promise in Tangramm's run? Cosr 3k and running for a trainer with a poor record with 2yos Tangramm looking smaller to small and green. But, in getting from a little adrift off the back to 6th alongisde Retro Valley 0.5f out (RV having had a comfortable time in the first 5) he seemed to be showing something at a low level. Making ground 2 Wide on the bend and looking green and unbalaced a bit in the HS. Usable?
