G from GF on Decs & G the previous day. Medium to Light Direct Tailwind.

See the test of the Enquiry into Just The Tip below. On seeing the Market Drift noted went and Checked Dalgleish's record with Supports & Drifts in that work. That data shows he has a spectacularly strong link between noted Supports AND Drifts. Noted Drifters in the Study produced 100% Losers. Noted Supports produced Good Profits backing all of them at SP in 13 out of 15 Categories. A, somewhat worryingly, direct Link between Market moves and Reality seems a reasonable suggestion.

VRev of Just The Tip a mixed story. A slow start because the horse leant on the side of the Stall but the jk does get active to get her going and niggling as required to keep her in touch to past Halfway. Last 2F not obvious what the jk was doing. Allowing JTT to drift back to 2F out then doing nothing inside the last 2F. A bit of Rocking Horse elbows work at times & perhaps a bt of a 'Look Busy' attempt. On the other side JTT looking a bit unbalanced on the Ramp and why didn't the jk just ease the horse and make a WTRB report saying JTT didn't handle the Course? Instead, the inactivity in the last 1f with JTT still looking like she had effort to give looks suspicious.

Stewards' Enquiry Full Test = "The Stewards considered the running of JUST THE TIP (IRE), ridden by Tom Eaves and trained by Keith Dalgleish, which finished unplaced. They noted the trainer’s representative could offer no explanation for the filly’s performance. They ordered JUST THE TIP (IRE) to be routine tested.".
