SUMMARY
Trainer Tate in 214 saying Dubawi Diamond was "small and ready" and he would give him one run of 5f but he would "be better at 6f". Why is DD starting his career in mid-August over 7.5f?

Slower Paced race but perhaps average Pace Pressure with the final uphill efforts stating before 3f out. Space Age allowed a soft time in the lead inclduing having time to run a bit green on the bend. Probably the biggest in the field and seeing out the 7,5f well. 2nd-4th finishers in a 2R Lo3 behind SA from the first 1F and Fast Charlie & Pamushana racing overlapping each other for the whole race.

Dubawi Diamond looking a smaller one in this 'stayer' field and average length. Small frame but okish build. Giiven a 'Teach to Settle' ride and hauled back early to sit int he last pair. Never quite settled and jk always holding to some extent. Hung left on the bend as he had done early on when held. Like many horses he took a bit of time to respond in the last 3f, as many horses do, when the jk flipped over from pulling DD's teeth out to stop him pulling and going forward to insisting he went forward. Given the race set-up made a so-so to average job of chasing 4 x bigger gorses with a head start. On the plus side he didn't stop, even with the earlier free-running, and was still plugging onto them at the line. Size limited stayer?
