Solid but usable pace and only enough Leading Edge Folding Back to compress the field a bit late on rather than the Closers being able to get involved to make the 3. Rail still out from after the intersection to the 2F+ out cutaway. Recent races seem to have have looked more like the 'Old Days' when running prominently on the Far Rail an advantage. First & Second home here were 2nd & 1st in the File on the Rail through halfway. Given that set-up Rock Follies making an ok job, in a lower quality race, of challenging in centre track. Straightothepoint a tough task overall from the widest stall and ending up racing centre track in 3R. making just an average job of making some progress in the last 1.5f wide and lacking size & scope. But, the big 'Story' if you accept the prominent racing ans Far Rail better idea then what on earth was Cabelo doing getting to 4th late on and still going forward? Green overall and off the back in last early on and racing widest on the track overall. Jk in full drive and whip mode by Halfway and Cabelo Out Of Shot into the last 2f. And you wouldn't expect to see him again except in 11th of 12th trndling home. Pops up late on. Low Level 'Different'?. Bushtiger getting well behind and probably a bit green overall, Hard to judge because Out Of Shot for parts of the race but lef tthe impression of a small one and not doing anything positive to recommend. Cloak And Degas looking a slightly bigger type in the field & not fully fit. Ran better than the final position suggests and still competing in the Leading Line into the last 1f. |
