SUMMARY
Full Text of Stewards' Report into the riding of Proposed = "The Stewards held an enquiry into the running and riding of PROPOSED, ridden by Richard Hughes and trained by Richard Hannon, which appeared to be tenderly ridden throughout to finish seventh, beaten some 14 1/2 lengths. They interviewed the rider, who stated that his instructions were to do his best on the colt. He added that PROPOSED is big and backward and broke well, but was running slightly on its nerves in the early stages and he therefore eased it back until it was in a position to be comfortable and get into a rhythm. From half-way the colt was flat out and so he continued to hold it together and push it out to achieve the best possible placing. Having heard his evidence and viewed recordings of the race, the Stewards noted the rider's explanations. They ordered PROPOSED to be routine tested.".

[Aug 29] Elm Park a comfortable win and LoB and unchallenged. Jk able to delay the effort until around 1f out and more of a 'Test Drive' than having to do it and ensure the win. EP going comfortably at the finish. Slower time and handling the Soft Ground best. Also a vague niggle that the Centre Track might had been better going with the first 3 home wide draws and racing widest. Last 4 home running Cent-Stds from high draws and fading by 2f out.

Some interest in River Dart on the VRev looking a solid size & straight mover. Racing furthest over to the Stands Side which may have been slower ground. Early fade a niggle but went back and looked at his Breeze Video. Looking a leggier and rangier type than typical of his sire in the Breeze gather. When he starts the breeze he shows a fast action while using his range including recovering the hindlegs well under his body. Looks ok as a speed 6f and seems to show ok pace. Gets a bit tired towards the end of his Breeze to add to the early fade here. But, seems to have potential to improve. Better at 6f on faster going?
