SUMMARY
Field Raced Centre. An Average Pace to Halfway and Field quite tightly grouped at that point. Paced upped by Flash Fire soon after Halfway and then a 2F Sprint at the end. Enough pressure for the first two home to Drop the others in Ability Order as they came under pressure and stalled. Charming Thought a bit bulkier than FF and looked to be going better than that one during most of the penultimate 1F. But, with FF still responding not able to get past that one when asked for his full effort-1f+. Defnite 85+ pair and possible for 90 with PRev Check. (bad race to miss).

Bamboccianti a good size if a bit smaller than CT & FF. Also a bit sweaty and a bit of FFH early in the race and never racing fully settled because a bit green & anxious. But, making the 3rd best effort and hanging onto the leading pair until around 1f out and well clear of the 4th. Got tired in the last 1f and walking late which meant two horses he had left behind mugged him late on to drop him to 5th. Looks ok 80.

[Sep 3] Charming Thought looking the part in VRev and both he and FF a quality level above the best of the others. CT better quality than FF and went through the first 5f of the race like the best horse. Jk still sat still in the last 2F with FF already working hard and doing that odd, slightly wild, rolling thing manu MaJo 2yos do. But, CT not picking up towards the last 1f and not producing the kick you would have expected to gain 1-2L and win a bit comfotably. Instead he got a bit unbalanced and had to start again and gather intot he last 0.5f. Which he managed and going clear with FF at the finish. Showing a solid KA and you would wonder whether the GF ground was a bit too unforgiving for him. Switches to Polytrack STO.

[Sep 4] Red Harry of General Interest and to check his development. Out of a dam who has produced precocious sprint 2tyos and probably only one winner above 8f of any type. But, RH by Manduro who isnotable for getting stayers and 3yo developers and hardly had a 2yo winner below 8f. Looks an ok size and moves ok here but hints of that mixed breeding. Running too free to halfway and travelling ok about 1L down at halfway. But, then outpaced and left behind as the pace ups and making a similar initial effort to LDV but then stays on and leaves that one behind. Nursery project with some scope?
