SUMMARY

Notably Fast Time with a Medium Tailwind Downhill stretch. Track Surface looking very light and dusty = reworked at all or just Worn Out? Odd lat 3f to the Race Shape with the first 3 from early on (The Dapper Tapper, Dream Approval & Ghalib) looking like they had made a decisive break coming to 2f mark and the bend. Prob 2-3L clear and looking like the race was between them. Ghalib unable to make much progress on the other two before they flagged despite having been punted and talked up. Looking about the size and type to fit OR67-73 so in the right place on that account and hard to see why he was down to 5/4 at one point. But, those leading 3 perhaps stalling and fading in the last 2f and two deeper closers fom Midfield & no 2R (Pinter & Simply Magic staying on in the last 1f to be going to the first 2 places late on. Pinter runing more centre track and any of his 'strong' finish the CS Effect?
With the Dusty surface and the messy Pace some of those behind appearing either to not handle the track or be held too far back (and in the kickback). All Rounder shoved along from early on and looked as if she packed it in. Francis Scott Key held up at the back and never getting going or into the race.
Stewards' Enquiry Text = "The Stewards held an enquiry to consider the apparent improvement in form of the winner, PINTER, ridden by Silvestre De Sousa and trained by Charlie Appleby, which had never previously been placed. They interviewed the trainer's representative, who stated that the horse had benefited from being gelded since its last run. Having heard his evidence they forwarded his explanation to the British Horseracing Authority so that the previous performances of PINTER could be reviewed. The Stewards ordered PINTER to be routine tested.".
