Haalan running for trainer Brittain who has only has season winners debuting after July once in the last 5 seasons. Behind on numbers this year and winding down career? or behind schedule?

Latest Work Video for Starring Guest is from 8th August. SG working with unraced 2yo/maiden 3yo The Pocket Dot (presumably moderate to poor) & OR90 rated older fille Cruck Realta (real OR80s). SG a bit bigger than TPD but smaller and notably lighter made than CRealta. SG jogs along in lead pair with TPD then moves on with CR briefly after CR puls out to go past them. SG able to find effort to leave TPD but soon dropped by CR.

Starring Guest previous work to that was on July 29th with Cruck Realta acting as a lead horse to SG, Alpha Spirit (OR65 5f winner & out of form) & unraced 2yo Just Silca. SG running alongside CR and finishing with her. ASpirit hanging right and driven along from 1f+ out and dropped by leading pair. Just Silca taller than AS but a different type (by Teofilo). Narrower and more leggy/rangy. JS green but responding late on to go by AS but looking a 7f+ galloper.

Worth noting that jk WT Davies rides Midas Haze for Bell while Catling rides SG. WTDavies an A3 at season start and talked of as a 'Stable Jockey' but not used much lately with Hitchcott & Apps Bishop & Cremin riding recent winners for the yard. Also worth noting that Channon is well down on his Wins/Runs Schedule (up to Race 549) compared to his 'Career Poor' 2013 Season. 11 Winners of 12 races at a Strike Rate of 7.9% to that point.

Field Raced Far Side to halfway with an Average, and usable, Pace at most. But, What Say You Drifting Centre track and upping the pace before 3F out and gaining a break on the field. Early start to the later race efforts meaning a solid time for the winner aided by a Tailwind.

Starring Guest in a good spot to start the later race efforts. Okish effort but looking one of the snaller ones in the group and light behind & taling away. PRev saying fit on the day. Lacking scope?

Solid effort by Lady Of Dubai to produce an extended lower level effort to get from well back inside the last 3f to a going on 2nd at the line & still trying hard. Just medium size?
