S again by Noon after 5mm of Rain during the morning. GS from S on Decs. 8f around a bend. Stalls Centre. No picture of Bold in Charlton's daily blog just a lot of the pointless pedigree non-analysis waffle. Bold cantering to start alongside Split The Atom and a similar frame but better built overall. Not hard, given STA is narrow and sparely made although a complete trier. Slow pace and a 2.5f sprint in the HS. Bold bulkier than STA but a laboured movement, if staight, and looking a bit heavy and slow on debut. Both comfortably beaten by Restorer who won going away and handling the going well. Restorer an odd shape and IP to slight compact. But a barrel and stong behind if still a bit up behind. Split The Aton has OR74 which is wrong and he is perhaps a mid 60s one. Bold looking a bit green here but not much over 70 perhaps. |
