G as on Decs. Stiff+ SW Wind == 3/4 Tailwind from the Right in the HS.. CoC Quote = "Rail dolled out further on to fresh ground up the back straight and around the Home (wood) Bend and also remains dolled out on the previous line on the Away (stables) Bend. This now adds 35 yards to the standard 7f and 8f distances". Unremarkable Breeze Video from Thowar Smaller Medium to Medium and mostly balanced set-up and just middling power. Does a straight breeze at a middling pace using his middling range. Doesn't seem to have anything above that pace and gets a bit tired in the last 0.25f. Late 60s? Slow Paced until into the HS but Referendum moved up to head the leader just inside the 4f out Post in the HS. That set off a general Pace increase to add a fair bit of Pace Pressure given the Early Start. First 3 home pulling clear together in the last 1.5f+. Game Show stil green and separating himself from the rest in the last 2F+ and a similar effort to the 1st three. Gaps back tot he rest and most probably of no interest. Loom Of Life still looking boaty and slow even in this set up. Plain Slow or still a 'weak frame' of a horse?. Baffling STO switch for Red Majesty. Began over 6f on GF and ran prominently having looked unfit and a bit too fizzy in the prelims. Perhaps some attitude issue in later race. But, looked a spinter shape and attitude. Turns up her STO over 8f on easier going in Headgear with Spencer riding. Which meant he got held back to midfield+. Still showing little enthusiasm when asked to make an effort in the HS. [Sep 21st] Thowar looking medium size and build and usable 60s in his Breeze Video. Always a bit too free here and running the BS here like it was his 'Breeze', Slow start from very wide draw but sonne 2R but always wide ont he track and 3 Wide on the bend. Jk mixed in holding him back by 2L with getting pulled back forward ar 2-3 points. Only a brief effort in the HS and fading soon inside the last 2f. Steps up to 8.3f STO on a Downhill track with an Uphill finish. Settle better? Able to produce a longer effort on the uphill if he does> |
