Inside HS in Use. Race Distance is 7f 212yds. Balding in 214 saying how relaxed Rocky Rider is and a good make and shape. Then drifts off into pointless Pedigree Lite before saying something interesting = A 3yo in the making, but those good horses should be running & winning at 2yo if they are going to be any good. Picture on Qatar Racing website as a Yearling? Has the IP body length but still leggy and neck too long? Hints at being a bit narrow on the side-on picture. === Post Race === Looked like the two best horses pulling clear of mixed quality behind. Lord Ben Stack the biggest and allowed a clear lead in the HS and upped the pace inside 3f out and pulling clear of the others. Good effort in that from Dissolution to show that good closing effort he has to get from 7L+ back as the leader upped the pace to be closing on him to the line with the pair well clear. [Sep 17] Some positives from the run of Rosenbaum overall. A bit green through much of the race and a slow start and then hampered to be a bit adrift last in the first 1f. Niggled or driven along at times and bumped along around the bend. Looked better when into the HS and given a straight and clear run on the outside. Did a bit better than average to get from well back to challenge 5th before a stall and fade in the last 1f. Niggles in that he looked a solid medium, at most, and certainly smaller than Dissolution whose Centre track run he followed for a while. Small niggle over why the jk got so busy with the whip in the last 3f when Rosenbaum looked like a green horse who responded willingly once given the task of a straight run in the clear. |
