GF as on Decs. 10mm Watering Weds & 10mm Thu. Average Pace and jk on Swift Approval trumping the typical MaJo runner move to go to the lead on the rail early and control the pace. SA look similar height to Water Thief but notably more bulky/strong. SA then XFing past WT in the BS and controlling the race. SA looking in the right spot here leading and allowed to get into his stride in the HS having been a bit outpaced 2f out in a better race on debut and then never getting going on softer going STO. SA looking a 75+ stayer with some scope here. Third TIme Lucky trying very hard again and making some ground on SA in the HS but eased late on as starting to stall and losing a bit on SA towards the line. TTL has OR77 which is 3-5lbs too high for his set-up and hard to think he would keep getting beaten in Northern maidens if he were a strong 77. He looks the 'Eternal Placer' type who needs to find a weaker maiden to win and vulnerable to something 75 ish normally. Water Thief looking lesser type compared to the first two and his OR75 and Gea And Teas OR74 also looking too high. Odd run by Enville and a '3rd' after the problems he had seems odd and how badly did WT & GAT fade. Enville looking another sub-75 one and perhaps a bit lighter made than GAT. Enville looking a bit wobbly and unbalanced at various times int he race and never going forward properly. Also got hampered on the bend as the jk was trying to make some ground back by hustling him along. Took a long time to respond int he HS and some mild plugging on in the last 1f. That proved enough to get past the tirng pair of WT & GAT near the line although Enville running poorly. Why no WTRB report? |
