GFG as on Decs. Watering as "7mm this week". Stalls Stands' Side. It would be interesting to know what the Back Story was with Cadeau Magnifique. He was bought for €90,000 at the Gorebridge Breeze Sales but that after having been catalogued for the Tatts October 1 yearling sale (Premier sale) and both the Tatts Breeze Sales (incl the select one). On the plus side he must have something to have been allowed into 2 of those sales but why did he miss all 3? A look at his Breeze Video suggests the €90k had more to do with his size, substance and scope than how he moved on the day. Looking a bulky body and possibly front heavy. Not controlling his size and looking a bit flabby (a rushed prep to finally make 'any' sale?). Trundles through a breeze looking a bit green & fat and never getting going. But, on the plus side a looks a solid size and build. This a later debut for a Fahey usable 6f one but obvious reasons why this one might have been delayed having got to the stable in May and prob not done 'enough' base work to that point. |
