SUMMARY

Note that owner Willie McKay continues his policy of being a general nuisance (about time the Special Squad turned up at 04:00am and turned his gaffe over again, teach him some manners). McKay has named two 2yos 'Chatty Man' in 2014, both trained by Griffiths (last one still returning phone calls?). This one will be known as 'Chatty Man (Ir)' being Irish bred. Griffiths has previously declared 'Chatty Man' (the other one) over 7f in a maiden at DONC on July 28th but it was an NR. The other one being British bred by Bushranger ex Shenir.

Chatty Man (Ir) does a poor breeze and looks too raw both physically and mentally to be at the sale. Not a rabbit but looking bits-and-pieces and not together. Upright front and no snap to the movement. Wanders through the breeze hanging, ears pricked, never getting moving at any worthwhile speed, etc.

King Of Normandy unusual for Hannon having made his debut in France. 4th of 9 in an 8f event for unraced Maidens at DEAU on Aug 23rd, beaten under 2l in a bunch finish. None of the others have run again subsequently.

Mixed story with Kitten's Red Breeze Video. As per the picture on Dunlop's website he looks just medium height but lengthy and solidly built, especially in front. Given he is starting at 8f the Breeze is a bit of a surprise. Instead of getting a laid back individual rolling along using his range you get one trying to go too fast and using an average+ speed to his action. Seems a bit out in front and the nodding not properly timed. Gets a bit ragged in the last 0.5f. Would like to see that he has settled down and moving straighter and more efficiently here.
