G as on Decs. Medium+ ENE Wind = 3/4+ Tailwind in the HS. Rail Fully In. Yearling picture of Chicago Bere on the MPR website make him look tall but narow bodied. Plus a bit too lengthy and light behind. Short Video clips of him at a Hannon work morning in early 2014 a bit more promising. Has filled out a bit and looking a bit more together. But, still taller and a bit leggy and has some presence but the walk a bit stiff? What does he look like galloping? Upright & lacking pace? Hughes rides with Dobbs on Port. A Slow Pace race and just a jog around until just before 2F out. In that Context unusual that the First two at Halfway finished as Far back as 3rd & 5th when they were in the Best Spots when the 2f+ Sprint started. Some closing up behind in the CZ but Dartmouth & Delusional both pulling away at the finish and solid efforts given the race pase. Last 2 through Halfway (Nota Cambiata & Port) blown away in the final Sprint. Chicago Bere getting an Easy Lead and a likeable bigger type. On debut and not really stretching out in the final sprint but staying on again at the finish. Seems solid potential to improve. Rosenbaum an ok effort to head CBere at 2F out but then seeming to be intimidated at 1.5f out and hanging right and headed. Not fully fading but not really picking up again either. No WTRB. |
