Fahey SL piece "The Maiden Auction Stakes at Doncaster is quite a warm race but Bahamian Sunrise didn’t handle Ripon at all last time and he’ll definitely run better here. Whether that’s good enough to win though remains to be seen but you’ll definitely see an improved display."

Good move by Varian to target Haxby at a lower level Auction race and probably lacking any 70 types. Rather than at an Open Maiden where he would probably run into 75+ horses he couldn't deal with.
