SUMMARY
Mostly a Classic Run Style for 5f winner here with Field Game getting a lead on the Rail around the tight bend. But, prob the best horse and able to produce the best effort in the HS. FG running a bit wide off the rail on the crown of the bend but no problem because most of the others running/hanging/carried left to be even wider. Star Fire able to use all that wide running by others to make places into the HS in Ln1.

[Sep 30] You're Cool prob looked an ok size at the Breeze Sale and cost 70k. Interesting to check during the Winter how the Breezes relate to how the 2yos runs on it's early outings. YC looking a ragged 'Blast Machine' at the Breeze and something not looking timed right F&B when asked to really stretch out and go to Top Gear. On debut he travelled ok but then got unbalanced in the last 2F wehn asked to up the pace. To the point the jk eased him into the last 1f. With that background no surprise to see YC looking completely out of his depth on a tight and techincal 5f track here. Ended up go wide to the bend and not handling it and not helped by Jellwa bumping him. Same unbalanced floundering as on debut. Hanging wide into the HS and now with a straight track but still something not looking right when he stretches out in front and the hindlegs seem out of synch. Trainer still with a lot of work to do to turn him into a professional racehorse. What needs doing to fix the movement issue?

=== Posr Race ===

[Oct 12th] Mixed run from Fligaz & hard to know what he achieved. Slower Break and Pick-up left him in 9th and Driven along for much of the race until the HS and appearing to get outpaced on the Bend and losing the back of the Group. He railed well to the HS and plugged on, prob just low level, to work his way to a Volunteer 3rd late on. Getting from 9th to 3rd in a short HS sounds ok. But, with Tangramm off the back and driven from early on, and 5 of the other 9 running much too wide on the bend (3-7 lanes wide as a Group at one point) the first 4 home were in a line on the Rail from before halfway. The only change in position between that 4 being Fligaz overhauling Star Fire late on after that one had hung left and started fading. Inclined to 'read' this as a race between the first 4 home and judge the others with the wide running factored in.
