SUMMARY
G from GS on Decs. Stiff+ Southerly Wind = Direct Tailwind.

Tim Easterby interviewed before racing and in motormouth form by his standards of Name-Rank-Serial-Number. Offerred a few short insights unprompted. Asked about his two newcomers in this race & didn't say much about ability just see-how-they-go. But did add that the reason they were here was because this was one of the first 6f races and they were too slow for 5f.

Pace presumably too fast with Lo3 pressing on and Roossey 3L+ off then towards Hf and driven alone. Fallon allowing Via Via to be another 3L+ back and just starting to niggle along by Hf by prob recognised pace would fold back. Perhaps also because he had got 7L back because the upright looking galloper VV had taken time to get balanced on the undulations and Fallon had mostly sat still and let the horse organise himself rather than bounce around waving the whip and confusing the issue.

Via Via winning a fast time 6f (conditions aided) but looking more of a 7f galloper. 2nd runner for FS Sire Lope De Vega who won at 10f+ so likely that VV will run in the Chesham. Example of how Brittain 2yos that can win at all at 2yo tend to show it FTO.

Roossey looking flat out before Hf and just a medium one. Solid effort given that to get to the lead before fading last 0.5f. 70s?

Kylach MIUC in excellent condition but led to him being another Ryan 2yo running too exuberantly. Should be ok for high 60s to 70 but needs to settle better.

Little interest in those behind with Snoway a small one getting to a volunteer 4tf past the faders and never in the race. Douglas Bank another eg of the Market knowing what to expedt from a Fahey debut. Another smaller one for owner Armstrong and lacking the bulk of a Burtonwood. DB also mentally young and overawed.

Vague interest in whether the pair who attended the pace with KMIUC (.Ripon Rose & Mister York) could use that pace in a weak race over 5f. Easterby pair looked slower gallopers and out of place in this fast 6f on a course neither looked to be handling. Sakhee's Return & Chollima both looking like 7f+ Nursery projects.
