SUMMARY

Going Changed to S after Race 1 (this Race 3) after a 20 minute Heavy Shower <30mins before racing. This shower apparently added 2mm. G in early am from GFG on Decs after 7mm rain Mon & 1mm Tue. Showers forecast for the day, some heavy.

Outer HS in use. CoC Quote = "Rail stepped out 2m on home bend increasing round course distances by 6 yards".

Hymn Of Hope looking a laboured mover in his Breeze Video. Medium frame with some length and prob LB. Doesn't use his head & neck properly and no much range. Action looking busy and middling speed at most. Visually seems to be making an effort to move in front with his head up and not nodding properly. Retained for £150k (RP & Goffs figures agree this time to make the other difference less understandable). Which represented a poor 'pinhook' having been bought for 150k gns as a yearling, which was a cheap price given the pedigree. £140k bid by someone else at the Breeze Sale also 'cheap' given how over-excited the bidding was at the eve of Royal Ascot 'London Sale'. Move any better here?
