SUMMARY

Tedious but use GSS as the Going for all 3 races. Full story is that Meeting Started on Official Soft with the Bends GS which has no effect on the Straight Sprints. But, Official Going Changed from S(GS on Bend) to GSS after the 3rd Race despite a cool day. S from GSS on Decs. Rain as 12mm Mon, 2mm Tue, 5mm Wed, 1.4mm Thu.

Medium to Stiff SSW Wind = 3/4 Tailwind from the Left in the HS.

Rails Fully In. Stalls Stands Side.

Field raced Stands Side to Cent-Stds until some drifting left in the last 2f. Visualy an Average Pace wtih Miami Carousel allowed an unhastled time in the lead. Always a bit held by the A5 jk but never out of control. Despite the pace's look none of the field finishing the race off fully with George Bowen fading late on and MC finaly fading on the Line. 3rd-5th finishers fading during the last 0.5f and only Showstoppa along with GB ever able to raise the forward effort in the last 2f to overlap the winner. 6th-10th faded by 0.5f out and tired by the Line.

Miami Carousel back off a break off 77 days having won off OR70 in an early Nursery then run ok off OR76 and a poor run off OR81. On visuals looking bigger in this group than expected and strengthened up? Off OR81 here but with an A5. First run on Softer going since his debut on HVS. Looking back at his debut race now he had OR90s rated horses in 2nd & 4th around his 3rd place. Travelled best here and the jk still holding onto him a bit into the last 2f with all the other jks at some level of Niggling or Driving. Mix of improved physically & for Soft?

Sloppy effort by Acolyte doing several things wrong then not picking up on the going and hanging left with his head hed to the Right indtead before a ful fade 0.5f out. Leant on the Side of the stalls so fell out and then took a bit of time to get going. Followed that by running a bit too free overall and then not moving straight when asked to make his effort n the last 2f. Trainer's Rep made a WTB report saying Acolyte unsuited to the Soft ground.
