Background Information
  • Hugo Froud.
  • Gained his full professional licence in November 2013 and mainly an NH stable. Mr Froud's family own the property in Somerset from where he trains. Went to study at the Irish National Stud to get into the Racing Industry. Given the 'John Durkan Memorial' award there which granted him a 2 year placement with Bryan Meehan at Manton. After that he went back to the family base to train racehorses. He says on his Website that his initial aim was to train enougn P2P & Hunter Chase winners to prove to the BHA he was suitable for a Full Licence (upgrading from the 'Permit'). No 2yo runner prior to 2014.
