SUMMARY
GS from SGS on Decs and SHV at 5-Day following a sunny & dry week. Medium to Stiff Wind as close to a Direct Tailwind. .

Stalls Centre with field racing Stands' Rail taken there by Twisting Hay.

After a slow start to the seasom a performance from Gin In The Inn which looked like a useful horse with longer term prospects. Looked a good size in his yearling pictures and a bit wary & green. Still the same here in both senses and the strongest in the field. Jk Hamilton able to spend most of the race, with Twisting Hay setting a solid pace on the rail, practising his perch and at times having to hold the horse back a bit. Able to delay the final effort until the last 1f and going clear still looking a bit green and not hard pressed. Given he has a non-5f pedigree interesting he was starting this early and presume 85+.

==== Post Full VRev ====

Some niggles about the quality of the 2nd-4th home who finished together raise a minor question over the upbeat take on Gin In The Inn. Also, on VRev he doesn't look a classic sprinter shape and lighter behind. But, the way the comfortably travels through the race and wins without looking pressed, going away but clearly still learning still looks good. Inclined to think he is a real OR80s horse, at least, and interesting to see what he would look like in a fast 5f test ot whether the trainer might wait for 6f?

Twisting Hay looking a medium size and strongly built and balanced set-up. Head down and tries hard and seems a straightforward type who should be OR70s & check whether he is a 'strong' Open Maiden type.

Willytheconqueror a mixed impression. On some angles of the AP Video looks a likeable medium sprinter and ok for 75. But, niggles over whether he is a smaller medium one and a bit size limited. Also niggles about how he moved through the race and his movement looked a bit scrabbly in front at times and a possible negative. Stick him around 70, check STO and see whether he is the zippy sprinter and a bit above that.

Jet Setting a similar size to WTC and a 'skipping' mover. Greener than WTC and not able to make the same move to 2f out to move up. Seem to have less basic pace but stickinh on right to the line as a low level plug on. Can improve for being more knowing & probably 70+ without looking a definite average Maiden winner type.

Wicked Woo of some vague interest because a bit more size that either of WTC/JS. But better built behind and a weaker front. Still green and raw. Lost touch on the uphill section and adrift in the final 2f and fading by 1f out. Trainer Hughes, presumably still Blockley's 'front', has had more 2yos in each of 4 season with a licence but has never got to Average performance levels and 2014 terrible. Has shown signs of Front loading competitive 2yos before but has started 2015 with two adrift runners looking underdone. See how WW develops.

After years with no 2yo win Milton Bradley has come back with winners in both 2013 & 2014. Indian Gold not a rabbit despite the price but started losing ground on the uphill and hanging left and right at times. Another showing no immediate promise but check for Sz in PRev.
