GF from GFF in early am. Stalls Centre. === Post Race === Immediate reaction after race was that with Haughmond & Bathos not putting whole races together the some doubts over quality needed to win. Blue Humor just a medium on andan average effort off an average pace. My Amigo not taking in VRev but bigger than appeared and a size bigger than BH and more powerful behind. Seemed a bigger one in context winning by galloping on. Quiet professional in attitude. Field raced Centre Track at an Average, usable pace. Popsies Joy the wotst puller behind and a bit wild overall. Making progress last 1f. Grown well? Ok for cheap price? [July 11th] Celebration a smaller one with a bit of extra range in front. But showing a medium KA. Travelling ok to 2f out but hanging left when asked to pick up and not matching first 2 home efforts. Drops to an extended 5f STO after a longer break on a turning LH course at CHES. Form of this race looking sub 75 on susbsequent runs and better prospects running poorly. |
