SUMMARY
G from GFG on Decs.

Whole rail Out between 3yds to 9yds. Actual Race Distance 6f 57yds = extra 39yds.

=== Pre Race ===

None of the Hamdan 3 ridden by retained jks - Alabaaly (Gibbons), Majdool (Mitchell), Tazaayud (KT O'Neill).

Fahey in his SLife piece = "Onto Chester now and Flanders Flame in the Maiden Stakes. He’s a little bit raw and the type of horse who will improve for the experience. He has a good draw but I think Beaverbrook could be hard to beat.".

Interesting race in Profile bringing together various strands of form. Beaverbrook appeared to improve 3TO but in a Conds race (seems solid) and check how that rating stands up. Would expect a 1.5L+ win with a resonably clear run unless something better emerges from the others. General Alexander & That'll Happen represent Northern from and may well be sub 75. TH probably do better given the draws. 3 x Hamdan STOs wll look ok for around 75, as does Spongy. Rewatching all of the Videos then hard to pick the most likely to do best of those 4. But, Market has Spongy (draw 4) & Majdool (1st cols, 7) at 8/1 early am with Alabaaly (20/1, draw 5) & Tazaayud (25/1, 9). Any value in the 2nd & 3rd colours?

=== Post Race ===

5p/£ Rule 4 Deduction.

That'll Happen in the inside stall 1 but the stalls positioned at least 2 x stall box widths off the rail. TH had been WD having been unruly in the stalls. Presumably he had damaged his gate to some extent. This meant the LH gate on Flanders Flame's stall 2 did not open fully and flapped back a touch, as the jk reported. FF obviously a bit green overall and vsisibly hesitant of the gate. FF ending up off the back hustled along and always chasing. FF looking a solid build and ok body shape but a bit smaller (?) & mentally young..

Beaverbrook getting a solid break and a free run to the rail with stall 1 empty and stall 2 a slow break. Bearverbrokk getting a soft lead on the rail and little effort from the other jks to take him on nor get involved. First 3 home the rail runners in the first 3 ranks through halfway. First 2 home going away from others in last 1.5f with big gap back. Spongy again looking some mix of slow/green and losing his place in 3R and dropping back to 7th. Hard driven for a long way and still 7th around 0.5f from home and eventually stayed on for a Volunteer 3rd.

[June 28th] Looked a solid effort from Majdool as a solidly built medium one. Good break and pace to get up with Beaverbrook until Hanagan sensibly dropped him back to 2R on the rail. Solid effort inside the last 2f having handled the bends well. Looks a solid 75 type and in a good race for him 3TO at WTON. One niggle would be he didn't fully stay here and steps up to 7.1f 3TO..
