Stiff to Medium NW wind = 1/2+ Headwind from the R.

=== Post Race ===

Pace probably too strong and Halfway Positions to final placing just read at face value would support that. King's Pavilion ran too freely on debut and effectively broken up what looked a solid field on Profile (a bit less good overall in PRev) at LEIC. KP keeping rolling well enough then to save 2nd but probably pulling a bithjarder here. Hanging left before 1f out to go from centre track to far rail. Found a bit of a response once there but KP running himself out bu inside the last 1f. The two long-shots who raced closest to him finishing well back and broken by the pace. The other 2 runners between 2L to 6.5L at Halfway and all making ground after halfway on KP. The two on STO who were in midfield able to get past KP and the 2 on FTO who had been well back, green & scrubbed along at halfway able to finish with KP as he faded back.

Dark Defender relaxed and professional here having pulled too hard after a slow start on debut. Travelled best in midfield and avoided KP and that one hung left and then able to stay onm past him in the last 1f. Travelled better than the effort he made. Say 76-7?

Birkdale not travelling as well as DD before halfway and seeming to need the jk to make his mind up. Stayed on ok but fading towards the line having been challenging DD in the finalk 1f. Sold build and around 75.

King's Pavilion looking just a medium/medium one in the group if with some extra zip and does find something having gone to fast rather than just flipping straight over into 'Fade' mode. Bur, needs to settle down and is he much over 75? Still a bit unsure as to the absolute quality of the LEIC race he ran in FTO. For example, are Thaqaffa & Viren's Army solid 75+ types or a touch under.
