Cuban Queen sold for 80k at the Tatts Premier 2yo sale. 80k the Median price for the sale with the Mean at 119,809gns. Top Ten Lots off the 55 sold at the sale ranged from 850k down to 200k. Breeze Video for CQ shows a medium sized one, IP body length with ok depth and strength. Video starts with the long-shot and already up to full speed. Using a faster than average action initially with average range. Drifting left for the whole of the first 1f+ to be in mid-track into the 2nd 1f when she changes lead (tiring?). After change drifts right instead and cadence dropping throughout the last 1f with the rider active towards the finish. Not seeing the 2f out fully. Balanced and ok power. Hanging here and see the 6f out or not? Drawn in centre track away from rail with the rail fully in. Needs to avoid drifting left.

[June 23rd] Slow pace and the field compressed at halfway with a Leading Lo5 and several pulling. The 'Deep' Closing nature of the Halfway to Final positions seeming to have more to do with racing near the rail, basice ability level and settling rather than being Pace affected. Al Dallah a puzzle and the race perhaps over-rated even atthe low level given? AD breaking well then taken back to 2R. Ended up making ground in centre track wide and staying on into the leading 3 right to the line. But looking a smaller one. Unexciting smaller one that can stay on well in a lower level BTON race 3TO despite the size niggle?
