SUMMARY
GGF by Noon. GGS in early am as on Decs.

CoC quote = "The inside rail around the bottom bend has been moved out by circa 2 yards from the 8-furlong point (round course) to the 2-furlong point, adding 7 yards to all races over 7 furlongs and further. This creates a false rail, finishing around the 2-furlong mark in the home straight.".

=== Post Race ===

Lively Pace with Letbygonesbeicons too free to be held by his A7 jk and stretching the field out downhill. LBBIcons settling a bit in the dip but keeping the pace going well enough to make it a proper test at 7.5f. LBBIcons a smaller and slight compact one but well enough built and balanced. Getting an easy lead effectively but only fading back from 2nd towards the last 1f and low level usable 50s promise.

Of the Johnston pair Tawakkol able to follow the pace unhustled as you would expect from a horse stepping up to 7.5f from having run over fast 5-6f courses. Went clear into the last 1f but fading back and caught near the like as he found another way to 'not win'. As on debut Champagne City (taller of pair) looking more of a galloper than Tawakkol and driven along at times and lost ground at times. Still rolling around about 2L down at the 0.5f out pole (would not have won a 7f race). But able to stay on to lead late.

Solid pace also indicated by how Deansgate and, most notably, Rioca were staying on out of the bunch in the last 1f to close up on the two Johnston runners. Rioca the bigger of that pair and a solid build. Say a medium size and a bit leggy. XNB but showed no sign of being a puller with Rioca too gree to track the stiff pace downhill and the odd tail flash. Staying on well in the last 2f and 7f perhaps a minimum unless he is a puller at heart. Rioca ok for 72+ and ought to be average Open Maiden level at least and should stay 8f or more.
