=== Pre Race === Breeze Video for Kadrizzi showing a horse at the wrong type of sale for Breeze timers. IP body but leggy if ok build. But, a bit upright mover in front and looking a galloper. Below average cadence and the rider happy to let the horse go through the Breeze at a middling pace unhustled. Which gives a slower breeze. But, still a question over whether the horse is usable. On the breeze looks on the slower galloper side. Breeze Video for Robin Of Navan raises some questions. On pedigree you would expect progeny of the sire to be 7f+ stayers but his few British wins mostly over 5-6f. In the Breeze RON looking a medium one with body length. At least middling reach which he uses with only a touch of KA. In the first 1f of the breeze he is driven along and shows a slightly faster cadence like he is being pressed into being a sprinter for the breeze. Tires, slower cadence and gets unbalanced at times in the 2nd 1f. Starts at 7f here. Ok in a slow race with a sprint tacked on? === Post Race === Slower Pace and field going around bend in Ranks of 3 with jk on Zzoro getting him 5 out off the rail for a period and Robin Of Navan 4 out for most of the Bend. Jayjinski an ok break next to the rail and able to lead for much of the BS for no effort. Godolphin Pair of Hawkbill (XF to RL & Ld to Bnd) & Hibou (XF to 2nd 1Wd Early on Bend) then coming forward to take the lead early on the bend with Jayjinski settled in 2R on the rail. Kadrizzi like the Godolphin pair also working forward from high draws to be prominent on the bend for minor efforts. They Seek Him Here moving up eyecatchingly 2Wd in 2R at halfway looking a bit bigger kit in the group. Given the Race Shape and Pace then who possibly could be riding 2nd favourite Dragon Mall and have him at the rear in 5R with the jk stood up looking about. You have one guess. Race developed into a 2f sprint int he HS with the first 4 through halfway plus TSHHere making a break back to the others to fight out the win. Hibou dropping back from the front 5 intot he last 1, TSHHere looking the biggest overall and a galloper and taking time towear down Jayjinski & Hawkbill "(fading late on). Dragon Mall showing a good effort to get from a long way back to be into the gap as a clear 5th by the finish. Frank having strngled any chances he had of competing to win. Robin Of Navan less eyecatching but a solid effort to end up into the gap in 6th and somehow got from wide out on the bend to finish up the stands rail. Jayjinski getting a good path through the race under a typically quiet & efficient Dobbs ride. Less bid than TSHH but s strongly built medium one, at least, and an somewhat extended effort. Looked solidly 75+. [July 28th] River Thames a neat medium one who seemed to have a minor reputation FTO if the Market had real clue. Found little in later race there. RT ridden by jk Tylicki here (rare MaJo ride). RT willing enough early but held back behind the Slower pace to 3R. Jk active by 3f out on the bend with RT needing driving along. Jk then resorting to the whip before 2f out. Moderate response and RT drifting L/R/L through this period. No response from RT to HnH inside the last 2f and the jk had eased before 1f out. Told to use the whip once then leave it? Presume some sort of attitude issue and RT not showing his ability in his races so far. |
