Going changed to GS after race 2, this race 3. Changed to G after race 1 after Rain, this race 3. Watering as 6mm Weds. Inside HS in use. Stalls Centre. Still raining to some extent and would presume going a little softer for this race than the preceding Maiden. Field again raced in a faairly Narrow spread across the track's Centre Line. Moderate maiden field overall with only 4 previous winners in the decs (2 did not run) and only 2 rated above 70 using the RPost guess at Risk Adjusted's OR being 77. Real, but currently not public until the 12th, BHA mark probably in the range 79-82 for RA. WHich would lift a smaller filly like Pass The Moon over OR70 which feels less than a bragain at best in the full term. Not a field with any Maidens at 4TO looking strong improver possibilities. More a field made up of winners plus the bulk of the field getting into handicaps ASAP given they are not going to wind Maidens, not Auctions probably. Add to that mix testing conditions and a stiff pace and only Wedge finishing the race off to any worthwhile level. Having been sable to sit 2-3L off the pace omfortably then move through past tired horses. Kumanavsumfun a seller winner but, by some ratings, had the best Timefigure in the field coming into the race. A bit more size than othersin the set at 'guessed at' OR63 bottomweight(no Long Handicap weights issues). KHSFun doing best of the pacesetters. Sing Something able to make a forawrd effort at 2f out but fading in last 0.5f. Along with most in the field SSomething unexciting in physical scope terms. |
