GF in early as on Decs. Watering but no details given. Rail Out by 3yds. Stiff to Strong Westerly Wind = X-Wind from the Left. === Post Race === Canford Belle getting across to lead on the rail but headed into last 1f and fading back last 0.5f. Star Jeanie Leading Pair 1 wide settled and taking over into last 1f, Mature, professional effort. Small but strong, most of her weight seems to be in a stong behind. Pharaoh drawn next to the rails again but unable to use it and dropping back in stages from early on. Another puzzling negative to add to the general feeling that the Hannon 2yos are 'not quite right' so far in 2015. Neither in quality nor reliability. Pharoah a second packed-it-in on the day, from a rail draw, following Ower Fly's mulish effort in the earlier nursery. |
