=== Pre Race ===

Breeze Video for Athollblair Boy showing a smaller medium one, lengthy body with ok build. Does a slow trundly breeze that is worse than his type. Slower cadence and lesser range use. Rider inactive apart from some niggling after the 1f out pole. Nothing much changes in movement and just looks more laboured.

Breeze Video for Mont Kiara from an odd low angle. MK looking notably lengthy and medium build. Longer reacher rather than a typical Ryan Bull Sprinter type. MK using a lot of range and a touch faster cadence for 1f+. Movement making him solid over 75?

=== Post Race ===

[July 25th] Field taken along in centre track by Papa Luigi who had pulled himself to the lead and going a bit too free overall.

Point Of Woods, Reputation & Athollblair Boy all run in a similar, fast ground, 6f maiden at the course 2 weeks after this. Point Of Woods justra neat medium size and too green on debut and still green to some extent here. That got him in rear. POW then producing what looked like solid effort to get to a clear 4th, first 3 racing prominently and already 'gone', in the last 1f before stalling. Still a bit head up and stiff and hanging left as he stalled. Strength of effort a bit above his size on visuals. Lacking physical scope but forward effort should be solid to compete STO if he can race prominently.

Reputation a touch bigger then POW and more range in movement (less speed in cadence). Also green and ended up racing alongside & just back from POW. Travelled better than POW to 2f but, unlike POW, nothing much happened when asked to pick up. Seemed to just lengthen out a bit, no cadence upping) more like a 7f+ reacher. A bit more scope than POW but is he really a fast 6f horse?

Athollblair Boy a bit more interesting than his final position although the trainer prevents any real interest unless he is 25/1+ in a weak 7f+ northern maiden. Has some size positive but movement suspect at present. Might improve for longer distance on slower going.
