=== Pre Race ===

A big field and a £10k bonus race - there must be lots of promising types in this field, surely? Profile suggests it is pretty thin unless PRev turns up something bigger & better than the [Prf]. Race Conditions are at the bottom and limit the fillies to progeny of 'lesser sires' in sales results terms (so far). The sort of race that can turn up a good one if they are at the best end of the sires progeny. Matilda's Law cost 55k for example and well above the Sire's median. First runner for trainer Wall of 2015 and he doesn't target 2yo racing. Gets the odd winner and the earlier debuts tend to be the usable ones (is Wall an ex Prescott man?). But, Wall say MLaw a small and racy one with a cheeky attitude. Will she be upper class in this field anyway? A look back over the previous 3 editions of the race stifens the resolve not to expect much. 2012 = very good winner, empty otherwise, 2013 = 12 fillies produced a later nursery winner and a winner of a similarly thin maiden, 2014 = Winner good, 2nd developed to rate OR90 despite being smaller, other 12 fillies gran total of subsequent wins was a single Nursery, late season off OR55. If there is a lurker in this field she will probably finish clear.
