Going changed to S (GStick 7.6 from 8.3 at 13:45pm) = further rain. SGS by 08:00am from GF on Decs with Rain Overnight (no details given).

Stiff SW Wind = 1/4 Tailwind from the Left.

Good example Race to use with the Leading trio running together and confirming the Size/Type & quality view formed of them in their previous races. Bond Bombshell the smallest and a trier but lefdt behind by bigger horses. Mistymoistymorning Taller than BB but a lighter framed but a step up in quality from BB. Be Bop Tango taller again than MMM and bulkier and enough extra power visible tovercome the 5lbs WFSwx allowance of MMM.

Trainer Burke typically takes time to get the stable into form and first block of wins often not until late May or into June. Only had two winners before June 6th in 2014 withhis name back on the training licence for the stable. Had 5 x Debuts in April with non ready/competent enough to compete to win. Be Bop Tango his second STO winner with an unplaced debut runner.

Millennium Falcon completely changed from being clueless FTO to lead her field on the rail STO and win at THSK on May 2nd. BBT running too free FTO and fading because of that. Needing a bit of niggling here to get going and settled outside the leading pair and another STO runner with the issue from FTO entirely fixed. Bigger than the two fillies in the Leading Pair and able to outkick them from the 2f pole. Not seeing the race out fully and hanging to the far rail in the last 1f and MMM closing back to him at the line. But, note the early readiness of the Burke STOs so far. You would have shown a Profit backing all of Burke's STOs in each season 2003-09 and 2014. In the four seasons his wife held the licence then 2 were profits with all STOs.

Mistymoistymorning smaller and ready. Ran competently and perhaps staying on a touch better than BBT having not been able to match his effort 2f out. Low 60s.

Bond Bombshell's willing nature tipping over into running too free and fighting for her head here. Fading by 1f out given that on the going. Low 50s and might find something weak if she races competently.

Hard to see why Secret Clause was so short since he cost £600 and trainer Appleby has never had a FTO make the first 3. More of S-3TO peak guy. SC trying to attend the pace but oupaced soon after Halfway and got so tired early he ended up adrift of the rabbits. No interest.

Pears pair of Secretan & Roaring Rory finishing together with Secretan running more prominently then finding a touch more when joined by the stablemate. Both small and no interest. Worth noting that the 'Yearling' pictures (hopefully they are 1yo given the usual size of the horse) always seem to make the horse look notably small and like 'big dogs'. Most are cheap and are small but why do they look so bad? Odd angle to the pictures? Taken very early as 1yos (say June)?

Scarlet Pursuits small and very green and never got balanced. No interest other than to see whether Fahey can find a race bad enough in the North foe DP to win. Never say Never, there are some shockers to come.
