SUMMARY

=== Pre Race ===

[May 29th] Going back and reviewing Video before Ahdaf's STO. Really odd Race Shape and pace too fast. With Ressurretto left in the stalls the other 5 bombed off downhill spread out like they were in lanes - see picture. From Left to Right = DIF, Ahdaf, Sunnua, FTPost & AOStars.

As the picture shows Dressed In Fur widest and the jk already active and DIF dropping behind the leading line lacking some pace & balance. But the stiff pace meant the last 2f turned into a 'last horse standing' slog, at slow speed, with DIF able to find a way to get to the lead late.

First To Post looking medium at most in the field and an early drop back from leading line last 2f. Raises strong ? over FTO rating. Need fast ground? Over-rated?

No fluke to Avenue Of Stars and a medium but strong type in the group and did as much as any to press the too strong pacxe and only overhauled late on.

Ahdaf had looked professional and uncomplicateds in his breeze and similar here. Godd break from widest draw and sitting settled in the leading line. A bit of a wobble after 2f downhill but controlled. Last off the bridle and going best to 2f out but, like in his breeze, nothing much happened when asked to make his final effort. The travelling best did not convert into a 1-2L forward move for example. Just got to the lead but a neck clear at most. Worn down and fading in the last 0.5f. Reliable type who should run to his level (70s somewhere) but does he have a kick? or just a faster cruising speed.
