=====

Strands Of Silk one of the smallest in the field but a complete and ready 5f filly. Natural and a trier. Top Of The Bank expensive one for his sire these days and for the sale he was at. Smaller medium & in good condition. Bit bigger and stronger than SS. Given the usual over-complicating ride by Spencer or he would have competed to win.

[June 2nd] Bossipop a bit disappointing in the final result but ran a little better than it reads. Got the best breal and always running a touch free and with head to to the right, possibly against the jk's hold. Going ok into the last 2f and a real forward effort to challenge the sree running SoS who had headed him before halfway. A bit of hanging left in the last 1f and fading in the last 0.5f meaning dropping to 4th but going 2nd best for 4f+ of the race. Looks a solid build and late 60s leak 70s.

[June 4th] Cotton Camera not standing out for size against SoS & Bossipop. In an ok spot for the 2f sprint in 2R 1L+ back. Seemed to lack the pace to go with SoS & Bossipop. Dropped to 5th but staying on at his pace to the finish to get back to 3rd. Staying on at the finish 3TO at HTON if not getting behind on the downhill?

[June 4th] Irish Cailin running a similar race to Cotton Camera in a race that turned into a 2f sprint. Broke better than CC, running a touch free in 2R then lacking the pace to go with the Leading pair inside the last 2f. Fading a bit in the last 2f so ending up behind the staying on CC. IC hanging left at one point and running alongside CC, looking similar height, more compact body but probably better built. A bit stronger than CC? Movement perhaps a bit stiff or just a shorter & faster action than CC? See how she develops with racing.

[June 13th] Performance of subsequent runners from the race suggesting sub 75 form and prospects for the most part. 1st-4th all beaten since although the winner beaten in a Listed race where she ran much too freely. Koothrappali running more promisingly than 5th reads and perhaps a 70ish type. Looking green and showing a fast action. Very good break widest and jk hauled him back to 2nd. Then dropped to 3R as Koothrappali a bit green. Made a solid move forward wide before 2f out to be in the leading line into the last 2f and a solid lower level effort to still be challenging for 2nd intot he last 1f. Stalling back a bit late then cut up by TOTB as that one came past and hung across him.
