- 1988 foal. Owner bred by G. Strawbridge and trained by IA Balding winning six races from 7f to 8f between 2yo to 4yo. As a juvenile won 8f Listed race on Sept 14th debut and then unplaced in 8f Group Grand Criterium in France. Older 8f Group winner and three successes at Group 2 level.
- To stud in 1993 and a good record producing nine Group/Grade 1 winners including Wince (1,000 Guineas), Sulk (8f 2yo in France) & Red Bloom (8f 2yo). Stood at a fee of £30,000 in 2002 and £40,000 in 2005 and one of the highest fees for a sire in Britain.
- Variable record with his British raced 2yos and about an average recent winners to runners record although an above average strike rate. In recent seasons has got wins at 7f upwards but not until late July or into August (aside from an untypical, R. Hannon trained, 5f winner in 2003). Gets regular better quality winners with recent examples of conditions winner Famous Grouse in 2002, Group 1 winner Red Bloom and triple winner Jedburgh in 2003, 7f Group 2 Etlaala in 2004 and Listed placed Scottish Stage in 2005.
- 27 yearlings sold in 2005 for an average above 50,000gns and 17 in 2006 at average of 68,000.
