- Martin Philip Bruce Smith. Officially training from a 10 box facility at the Cedar Lodge Stables in Newmarket when he ran his first 2yo in 2014.
- This background taken from the Homepage of his website = Martin Smith started to take a keen interest in horse racing at the age of 11 when he used to accompany his father Allan (who was a trainer and jockey) to race meetings in Belgium. Martin rode his first winner as an apprentice jockey at 14 and went on to ride winners in Flat and National Hunt races before retiring as Champion Amateur Jockey in Dubai at 27. Since then Martin has travelled around the world working with horses like Kingsgate Native, Alkaased, Starcraft, Redback, Sir Gerry and many more..
