=== Post Race ===

[May 16th] Basic VRev before Book Of Poetry runs STO. Raining and whole race covered from the camera in the stands = makes Halfway notes very difficult. Usable pace given Carson City swinging along in the lead and only overhauled late by Orewa who was niggled along mid-race.

Book Of Poetry presumably a slow start (video obscured) and last early on. Makes ground to be 5th on the outside by Halfway then a solid effort in the last 2f and still going forward at the line & trying hard. Looking just a neat medium one and less of a chunky sprinter type than some. A good clean and straight mover. Check how that take plays out after the PRev at NOTT STO.
