SUMMARY
Zig Zag Girl's win in a Seller here 4 days prior (faster time and better overall performance than the 2 x juvenile Novices on that card) looked a performance out of keeping with her physical type. Might leak 70+ mid-season but a 60s filly in the long term. One approach to put aside the misgivings about the mismatch between performance and physical substance. She was in good contion and looked to get into a good rhythm on faster going. The going today very similar and that performance has disappeared. With a new trainer and she has run poorly off short breaks before. But, question over whether the conditions very fast on her win and the relative time to the other juvenile races indicating they were slow times (reasons?) and she was just performing to 65-71 range.

Winning time here 0.71secs slower than ZZG's winning time 4 days prior.

Meanwhile, Time Easterby gets his first 2yo winner of the season in a typical manner = FTO winner at RIPN. How much of that an 'accident' in a poorly defended race and how much down the Appointed's ability?
