- Ir 38,000gns yearling trained by NA Callaghan and owned by M. Tabor. Won 3 from 4 at 2yo - 6f maiden July 13th, 6f Group 1 Phoenix Stakes Aug 13th, 7f Group 1 National Stakes Sept 16th then 2nd of 4 (one pacemaker) in the 7f Group 1 Dewhurst. Won 1 from 6 at 3yo, the 7f Group 3 Greenham on April 20th.
- To stud in 1997 at Coolmore in Ireland and shuttles to Australia. His a good record overall and a growing reputation with four Group/Grade 1 winners by 2005 including Where Or When (8f) & Choisir (6f) in Britain. Above average record with his British raced 2yos in terms of winners to runners and strike rate. Gets 2yo winners from the start of the season and at all distances from 5f to 8f although his best strike rate has been at 5f in the period 2003-5.
- Has had a number of better class 2yos in each season since his first in 2002 - Monsieur Bond (older Group winner) & St Pancras (2002), 7f Group 3 Barbajuan (2003), Dance Night (2004), 7f Group 2 winners Silent Times & Speciosa, Listed winners Salut D'Amour & Strut (2005).
- Had a remarkably high number of yearlings sold in 2005 with 87. The average was high at over 70,000gns for such a large group and the median was not far behind. With his improved results with his fourth crop in 2005 and such a large number of 2yos to represent him in 2006 it would be expected that he would produce similar results to 2005, at least. - Finished runner-up to his own sire - Danehill - in the 2006 overall sire's standings although just a solid year with his British raced 2yos including Group 3 winners English Ballet & Drumfire. 71 yearlings sold for an average just over 100,000 guineas and an indication that he is seen as a 'successor' in overall performance to his deceased sire.
