- Foal 2003, 16.2hh. Owner bred by Coolmore Stud and trained by Aiden O'Brien in Ireland. Won two of his four runs as a juvenile, on his first two starts, in a 7f maiden on June 30th and a 7f Irish Breeders' Levy Stakes in September. Placed second in the 8f Group 3 Autumn Stakes at Salisbury and unplaced in the 8f Group 1 Racing Post Trophy when second string to Septimus who finished third to Palace Episode.
- Ran 16 times at 3-4yo recording 8 wins. As a 3yo won an early season 10f Group 2 in Ireland followed by placing in The Derby before winning the Irish Derby. Also won the 10f Group 1 Irish Champion Stakes that year. As a 4yo won five of his ten outings with Group 1 successes in the 12f Prix Ganay, 12f King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes, 10f Irish Champion Stakes & the 12f Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe (from Youmzain).
- Retired to Coolmore Stud in 2008 at a fee of €50,000. Still there in 2011 with his fee having decreases in each year as €35,000 to €25,000 and then to €17,500. 60 yearlings sold, of 90 catalogued, in 2010 in Europe for an average of 50,575gns & a Median of 29,499gns. First 2yo runners in 2011.
