- 2001 foal, German bred and trained there by A Schutz as a 3yo. Brother to German Group 2 winner Subiaco. Unraced as a juvenile. Made his racecourse debut as 3yo when runner-up in an 11f maiden on March 27th at Krefeld. Successful in the 12f Group 1 pair of the German Derby and the Italian Jockey Club Cup at that age.
- Transfered to France with Andre Fabre as a 4yo winning 1 from 3 outings in the Breeders' Cup Turf over 12f. Three wins from 4 starts as a 5yo including the 12f Group 1 Coronation Cup at Epsom. Final start when unplaced in the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe.
- At Darley's Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket in 2010 at a fee of £10,000 and the same level he began at in 2007. Stood for Darley in Ireland in 2009 at €10,000. 17 yearlings sold in 2009 at an average of 59,587 guineas. First 2yos in 2010.
