- Variable record with British raced 2yos but results in seasons before 2010 below the level his reputation would suggest. The 2010 season saw the lowpoint with zero wins from 31 runs by 20 different horses. No winner before mid-September since 2007.
- Typical season would start with a small number of runners in Maiden races in May & into June at major meetings. These horses can vary from the best he has to just useful types being used as marker horses. This split of quality also typifies his Royal Ascot runners. Majority of wins come in Group races (or valuable Sales race events) from September onwards. Despite having no winners in 2010 he had 8 horses placed in group events in the September to October period.
